Kara and Bill, July 22 2006, at Breakers in Spring Lake

So Here is a wedding that we photographed in July and I just got back the first edition images from it and was reminded of how beautiful Kara looked and how fun of a day it was. See what you think...
Ciao'!!!
John and Lovina! oh yeah and MOLLY!!!

So this is her Granmothers Wedding ring that her Mom tied to the bouquet...

Here is Kara the second she saw herself in the mirror, can you feel the look on her face...

I thought this was a cool angle.

So she really vamped it up. I love when the Bride likes pictures!!!

The sky was perfect!

This is what they used for a guest book. It is a photo book on their honeymoon destination. I think I would actually look at that!!! What a great idea!!!

Laura and Phil at Windows on the Water, August 19, 2006

So we shot a real fun wedding this weekend. It was in Sea Bright at "Windows on the Water" which is in the "Surfrider Beach Club". Check out the details Laura and Phil thought up. First when you got to the hotel in the morning you received a beach pale filled with lots of goodies to get you through the weekend. It included an itinerary complete with times and images of the days goings on, maps of the local area, and some personalized "Laura and Phil" bottles of water. they even included a mini beach ball. The save the date item was a message in a bottle complete with shells a miniature umbrella and a little bit of sand from the ceremony site. The Seating cards had the little umbrella attatched to them as well. It made for some beautiful color where we usually don't have much. Laura also gave out favors of wine glass charms. Lovina told me it was going to be a very cool beach style wedding and she was right. We did all of their photos with some beautiful storm clouds over the Atlantic. It made for some dramatic images, but I really love drama. At the end they had a bonfire on the beach and probably partied well into the night. The scene was real cool. Check out some images here. We Will also be uploading a new slideshow of Molly this week so check back soon...

A Little Bit Of Heaven!

We started making these cool slideshows that incorporate alot of timing and music in them. They sort of look like a movie of whatever it is the photoshoot we did was of. So We shot a really fun Pre-Wedding photo session this week. The couple's names are Erica and Keith. We went down to the beach at Point Pleasant, NJ and took some pictures in the surf and on the sand. They really are a rowdy couple. Keith is a NY firefighter, and has some really cool tattoos. He has one on his forearm that you can kinda see that reads "Never Forget". I should've done some images of it but I think I would rather save that for later, at the actual weddind day . If these images represent some of what we can get the day of their wedding then I can't wait to shoot it! I thought it would be cool to try the movie slideshow software out on them. I like the whole " Little Bit of Heaven " thing, because the bench on the boardwalk that Keith proposed to Erica on, had that written on the side of it. I thought that was a nice touch on his part. Props for the great detail Keith, I bet it would be hard to say no to that. Although I'm sure no was not even near Erica's Mind that day. The music that I used is a local band we are really good friends with called "Kid With Man Head". They were a fun surf punk band from the Jersey Shore. So please feel free to click and enjoy " A Little Bit of Heaven".
I will definatley be adding a movie of our daughter Molly very soon as well. Its just we have over 400 photos of her already and its hard to pick my Favorites.

Our First Posting

So we wanted to have a Blog of our own to communicate with friends, clients, strangers, and strange people. We figured that there was no better way to start a blog than to introduce everyone to our newest little photographer. That’s right we had a daughter on June 28th, 9 freakin’ pounds man! Her name is Molly Mackenzie Arcara. She has more hair than me and it stands straight up in the air. Just like my little punk rocker! We have some photos of her right here. Lovina is doing great and actually has been back to work both in the studio and on location as well. She has definantly been a great inspiration to me. So keep reading on and check back. We will be posting photo shoots and family photos as well. Tell us whats on your mind. We want to get to know everyone who should look here.
