Photo Plus Expo @ Javitz NYC

Last week we were blessed with the opportunity of a speaking engagement with out fantastic album company out of Italy GRAPHI STUDIO. We presented at the biggest photographic trade show " PDN'S PHOTO PLUS EXPO" to 4 full audiences. We mostly spoke about and demonstrated their new software called LEONARDO, however we were able to also teach about workflow, marketing, & technique to other photographers from all walks of life, to better their own business, the way we have ours. What an amazing opportunity and an awesomely humbling experience, to be able to speak in front of other professionals in our field. Thank you so much to all of you who attended & I hope to see you all again soon. Thank you to everyone @ Graphi for this wonderful experience, you chicks rock, oh you rock too Dan!

So we are going to be posting from time to time our " a list {wedding s t y l e }" articles about cool things we see @ our weddings. Since our brides & grooms are the coolest in the world , we thought we would show you some fun and chic details that can make your wedding even more hip.
Our first, is on UPLIGHTING...

Lighting for me is kind of a big thing. I mean ya know, I AM a photographist... So when I enter a room that has cool uplighting, it really gets exciting. Uplighting kind of paints the background of any space and gives it a dynamic edge over what is normal there. It gives us depth and adds another stylized dimension to your images later. Uplighting sets the mood up perfectly for a dramatic scene filled with romance, dancing, and adds another dimension of color to your day. You can use lighting to bring out the colors of your wedding, your bridesmaids dresses, your flowers and the aspects of the room to help create a truly unique and exceptional wedding aura. The secret lies in the type of lighting, where to place the lighting, and using it to enhance and boost the already beautiful aspects of your wedding.

|| charles + addie || sunrise surprise proposal

We were blessed this morning, 6:30 am this morning to be exact, with shooting a romantic sunrise surprise proposal! Long Branch, NJ was a beautiful backdrop for a fun couple. Charles came to us 3 weeks ago all the way from the Island of Staten to make plans to get this all on film. It was sooo amazing. I ninja'd out under the boardwalk until the fireworks subsided enough and addie never knew i was there. When she did see me she asked charles who the creepy guy with the camera was , to which he answered, our photographer of course. Wow! great job charles, hopefully you can influence the masses of would be grooms and start a trend!
