J and L,

There are few people in this world that you always remember. Your father was one of them. He was always a warm welcoming person that made us feel at home anytime we were at the house.

I remember meeting him the first time at your house. As we sat there and hung out, there must have been 20 people that walked in and out of that house that day. Most them, I guess, his DJ employees or something. But you'd never know it was just an employee. No matter who you were, the way he'd greet you, you'd feel like this guy loves you! I remember thinking to myself "Man this guy is really popular..the whole town loves him!" "John's dad is so cool"

Even though we hadn't seen him in a few years, my memories of him are so vivid. The world has truly lost one of the good ones. Christine and I will not forget him.

John,

We are so, so saddened to hear the news about your father. We certainly know what a wonderful man he was and how devastating this is to you and to so many people who were close to you. I don't think I've known another family with bonds like yours. Images of laughter, parties and love are what I think of when I think of your parents. Your family is unique in the way it loves each other. I can only offer that your father's strength and passion and love he had for all of you and for life will carry you and your family on. We will never forget him. You and your beautiful family are in our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers.
We love you very much...

John, Lovina, Molly & Family,
We are VERY sorry to hear about your father. I have heard from Angie that he was an AMAZING man, wonderful Dad, loving husband, phenomenal grandfather, and a great friend. Its so sad to see someone who is so loved have to leave this world. I pray that God gives you and your family strength at this time. I am sure it seems impossibly hard to get through this difficult time. I am sure it was an honor to have someone like him in your life, even if he wasnt in your life for long enough.

Best wishes and lots of love,

Just wanted to let you know that I was saddened to hear about your dad's passing. I have known your dad as long as you as I have known you and enjoyed working with him at the weddings we did together through the years. I have so many memories from the years at "Spatz","The Lakside" and "The Ramada". He will be missed. My condolences to you and your family and I will keep you in my prayers.

John and Lovina,

I really hope that today's celebration of your dad's funeral rites helped you to realize that your dad's now in heaven. You now have a new saint to pray to, and to ask for help from, and I'm sure he'll always be there for you when you face the hard choices of life.

I really mean it, I would like to invite you and Molly to come to our Parish House where I can cook a nice dinner for your family, and I'll do it whenever you can do that...if it's a weekday or weekend, it doesn't matter to me. We should get together soon!

I continue to pray for you and your beautiful family. I pray that peace and tranquility comes soon to your hearts.

Thanks for letting me be a small part of Dad's funeral. Give my best to your mom! Bring her to dinner!

Peace and Love,

Fr. Gene

After working in Oncology Day Stay for a short while. A patient was admitted, little did i know that he was soon to become a man that I would never forget. After his many visits, and having the honor of meeting him, and his family . I grew very fond of him. I can still see your mom in her hot fashionable outfits walking in with those black and white cookies. Do not be fooled when you guys would leave he would always ask me for a piece of something in that box from the Dixie Lee...He would tell me how much he hated the shitty food in the hospital, and would say he had not eaten in days. Then he would tell me to call John and ask him to bring a pastrami sandwich. He made it a point to talk about how proud he was of john and how much he loved his family. He also would say... Jen, I hate it here I hate being here, nothing personal “None taken “I would always say. He was an incredible man who seemed to love his family and his job more than anything. You relationship with him reminded me a lot of the one I have with my dad. I think that is why I felt like I connected with him. After getting to know Mr. Arcara for only a short time, after he passed, and I attended his services, it took me a while to get over it. I was just starting out in nursing school, and had started my job in the Cancer Center, , and I had been told never to get attached to the patients, but being the person that I am, it was very hard for me not to, how could you not form a relationship with such a great family. Months later I transferred to a different unit, but he has and always will be the first patient that I took care of in that unit, and one that I will never ever forget. May he rest in peace

To the Arcara family:

I'm away from the area more often than not these days and just heard of John's passing. Please accept my most profound condolences. I was shocked at what I read to say the least. I've known him for close to 40 years, from my teenage years when I dated his younger brother Russel. He ultimately wound up shooting my wedding and many, many other of my family members including my own daughter's. He provided DJ services to so many memorable events in our family. Such a happy go lucky guy and quite humorous. All the best to his beautiful wife, Denise and family.

Thank you for another essential article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a complete way of writing? I have a presentation incoming week, and I am on the lookout for such information.
