thank you for checking out our blog. please note, these weddings are posted totally at random. it would be so perfect if we could post each and every beautiful day that we shoot, however, since we are a boutique studio, we don't have as much time to blog as we would like.
So Lovina and I shot this wedding back in September, and I wanted to post it because we arrived at Kristies house and it turned out to be a high school reunion for her. It was hilarious, all the girls in the bridal party graduated with Lovina.
Hi Everyone! Well some of our clients and perspective clients wanted to see the magazine article that "Studio Photography" did on us. I have a link to it here. Just a note, after the magazine came out I of course gave a copy to my Dad who, as you may or may not know, is a professional photographer as well. It winds up that 20 years ago, almost to the day, he was featured in the same magazine. That is what I think makes me love what we do even more. I follow so closely in my Dad's footsteps. There is no one better to follow.
This is an awesome wedding. We are Very good friends with the Demitri and his family. My Dad goes way back with them as well. It feels real good because my Dad worked with Demitri's Dad back in the 80's at The Lakeside Manor in Hazlet,NJ and I feel like I'm again being more like him. Demitri's family owns the Lakeside Manor, as well as Club Abyss, Deko Lounge and F1 Motoring. We have been doing images for all of his spaces and have been friends for years. This wedding was very important to all of us. Let me tell you, they had a cigar roller, a beautiful tent complete with full lighting that was stunning. It looked like a club in South Beach. They also had a Greek Dance Troop the likes of which I had never experienced.
Here are some cool images from wedding we shot in August. Carol and Chris had a nice wedding at The Jefferson House on Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Really fun crowd. Lotsa rowdy people!!!
I just LOVED this BLING ring!!!
Here is the Best Man THROWING the ring box to the ducks!!!! (oh yeah, it was empty. TEEhEE)
The alma mater themes were fun, they even played the fight songs for a sing along!
We shot my friend Louie and Marie's Wedding a few weeks ago. He owns an antique store thats across the street from our studio in Red Bank. If your in the market for some BEAUTIFUL pieces check them out at www.agostinoantiques.com. We did the images for their website as well. OK so I'm off the subject a little here. Back on track. The Wedding Started out at St. James in Red Bank, which is a beautiful gothic chapel right on Broad St., Then we went over to the Westmont Country Club. What a beautiful space! Ya know I wouldn't think a guy like Louie could get a girl as beautiful as Marie, since when we hang out all we do is talk about Star Wars. In Fact we are such Star Wars nerds that before Molly was born I would walk across to Lou's store and talk about Jedi names for my unborn baby for like hours. Lovina would call me and be like hey dork come back to work!! Oh Lou if you read this, now that your married I think you should DEFINITELY get the full size Han Solo in Carbonite.
Look He even got the Millenium Falcon to come down and take them away
Ok So its been so long since we've posted and I have soooo many Summer weddings to put up here, I hope you don't mind if they're a little out of order later. So I had a hilarious Pre-Wedding session here at our studio and around Red Bank. Joe and Stacey are getting Married next year and wanted to include their 11 year old Shi-Tzu, A.J. Of course I thought that would be great. Oh My God you should have seen Joe with her. He's got these cool tattoos and a shaved head, but he was a teddy bear. A.J. , The "Pup", she had all this attitude, and Joe and Stacey just sat back and let her shine. They even have a stroller for her because she has a little heart murmer. Well she was a trooper and we had a great time. Oh Yeah and Joe is writer you can find his books on Amazon.com under J.A. Pinto. After we did the Pre-Wedding Session we did some family images of Stacey's family with Kyle, who is 4, and Corey, who is 16 months. They were awsome. What perfect little personalities. Our own Molly is starting to get her own little "Personality" herself.
